Friday 20th - Wear warm outside PE kit.  

Week beginning: Monday 1st December

Monday - Wear normal school uniform.

Tuesday - Wear normal school uniform - no PE due to Christmas Play practice.  Please return Little Wandle Reading books.  

Wednesday - Wear normal school uniform.

Thursday - Wear normal school uniform.  Green house Show and Tell. Bring costumes/clothes for the play into school by today.

Friday - Non-uniform day in exchange for hamper items for the PTFA, our first dress rehearsal.

Final week of Christmas Play rehearsals, please practice your child's lines with them.

English - The children will write their own story (up to 5 sentences) in the style of The Owl Who Was Afraid Of The Dark.

Reading - Please return Little Wandle books on Tuesday, new books will be sent home on Thursday.

Maths - The children will recognise how many objects (up to 5) are in a set without counting them - subitise, will recognise and name ordinal numbers (first, second, third etc) and partition the numbers one to five in different ways.

Science - The children will start to identify signs of Winter.

Computing - The children in Class 1 will create images and use these to make a game, Class 1a will have an e-safety lesson where they will recognise that there may be people online who could make someone feel sad, embarrassed or upset.

RE - The children will start a new unit of work to answer the question "What gifts might Christians in my town have given Jesus if he had been born here rather than in Bethlehem?"

Geography - The children will learn about the geographical features of Holmes Chapel.

Inside PE is gymnastics this half term and outside PE is net and wall games.
