Week beginning: Monday 9th March

Monday -  Wear normal school uniform.

Tuesday -  Wear PE kit for inside PE.

Wednesday -  Wear PE kit for outside PE.

Thursday - Wear normal school uniform.

Friday - Wear normal school uniform.

 

English - The children will work together to write answers to the question - how did the fire start?  They will add missing finger spaces to sentences and plan their own answers to the question - how did the fire spread?

Reading - Reading groups will continue this week.  Please return reading books on Tuesday, new reading books will be sent home on Thursday.

Maths - The children will interpret and represent addition and subtraction stories using first, then and now, they will write the corresponding equations and find missing parts.

Science - The children will use what they learnt last week to decide which material should be used to make a new HCPS raincoat.

PSHE - The children will learn that medicines can help people feel better and that some people need medicines to keep healthy.

Inside PE is gymnastics this half term. Outside PE is invasion games skills.

Computing - The children will use Purple Mash to sequence algorithms (instructions) that require a correct order.

RE - The children will order the key events of the Easter story.

DT - The children will learning about Moving Pictures.

Music- The children will start a unit of work on the weather.
