Please continue to apply suncream before school and send your child with a water bottle filled with water.

Week beginning: Monday 6th July

Monday - Wear normal school uniform

Tuesday -  Both classes have their cube jar treat.  Wear outside PE kit or school uniform.

Wednesday -  Sports day.  Wear their house colour PE tshirt, PE kit, bring a hat and water bottle and if it's likely to be sunny please apply long lasting suncream before school.

Thursday - Wear normal school uniform. 

Friday - Wear normal school uniform.  

English - The children will plan and write their own information book to share with the current reception classes to tell them about Year 1.

Reading - Reading groups have now finished until next year.  Please return all reading books on Tuesday and please have a look for any other school reading books which may be hiding.

Maths - The children will use the hour and minute hand to read and record o'clock and half past times.  The children will also start their final unit of work using numbers up to 20 to solve problems.

Science - The children will compare and sort animals using their structure/body parts (wings, ears, tail, legs).

Computing - The children will add text to create their own ebook in 2Create a story.

PSHE - The children will learn about self-care and identify different things people do to feel good.

Outside PE is athletics.

Art - The children will finish and evaluate their printing.

Music - Music linked to our bodies.
