Friday 20th - Wear something red for comic relief.  Class 1a visiting the fire station 9:15 - 10:45, Class 1 visiting the firestation 10:30 - 12:00.

Week beginning: Monday 23rd March

Monday -  Wear normal school uniform.

Tuesday -  Wear PE kit for inside PE, Key Strings will perform to the children in the morning.

Wednesday -  Wear PE kit for outside PE.

Thursday - Wear normal school uniform.

Friday - Wear normal school uniform.  School closes at 13:20 for Easter.

English - The children will plan and write a recount of their visit to Holmes Chapel Fire Station, they will use the pronoun I to write in the first person.

Reading - Reading groups will continue this week.  Please return reading books on Tuesday, new reading books will be sent home on Thursday.

Maths - The children will explain addition can be completed in any order, find and use number pairs which total 10 (number bonds to 10), add and subtract 1 from any number, and recognise and use consecutive numbers.

Science - The children will identify the signs of spring - say how the number of daylight hours changes between winter and spring.

History -  The children will learn about Samuel Pepys and his diary writing.

PSHE - The children will talk about where money comes from and the ways people use it.

Inside PE is gymnastics this half term. Outside PE is invasion games skills.

DT - The children will learning about Moving Pictures.

Music- The children will start a unit of work on the weather.
