Week beginning: Monday 11th May

Monday -  Wear clothes suitable for allotments.

Tuesday -  Wear PE kit for inside PE, dance.

Wednesday -  Wear PE kit for outside PE.

Thursday - Wear normal school uniform.   Green group show and tell.

Friday - Wear normal school uniform. 

Allotments on Monday afternoon.

English - The children will learn about recounts, order activities from our Staircase House trip and plan their own recount of the trip.

Reading - Reading groups will continue this week.  Please return reading books on Tuesday, new reading books will be sent home on Thursday.

Maths - The children will measure length and record length using objects (non-standard units), measure length using cm cubes, use a ruler to measure in cm and estimate length measurements before checking using a ruler.

Science - The children will identify and name wild flowers in our school grounds.

Geography - The children will compare London and Holmes Chapel by identifying and naming the rivers found in each location.

Inside PE is dance. Outside PE is striking and fielding games.

PSHE - The children will identify different people who help them and keep them safe.

Computing - The children will learn that an output block makes something come out of the computer, like sound.

RE (Judaism) - The children will name some parts of the Shabbat meal.

Art - The children will learning about weaving.

Music- Music with an animal theme.
