Next Week in Year 5 we will be learning:
SWIMMING- Class 5 will be going on Monday afternoon. Please remember a towel and underwear, goggles (optional) in a separate bag. Children will not need to bring swim hats as these will be provided by the centre.
Maths: Understand and use the concept of factorisation.
Writing – We will be write our own balanced arguments.
Grammar- Revisiting learnt grammar skills of Modal verbs.
Reading - Cloud Busting by Malorie Blackman
Science:-Life cycles of animals
PE- Dance Through the Ages
History- The significance of the Silk Road and the role of Baghdad on the Silk Road
RE - Hinduism
French- Clothing
Computing- Looking at E-Safety and continuing the computing topic.
PSHE- What kind of job would you like and why?
Throughout the week we will also be focusing on practicing our handwriting and spellings with Spelling Shed activities.
