Week 20

Class: Reception Year: 2023 - 2024

Good afternoon,

This week  has been all about Space and alien writing. We have looked at the book You Choose in Space. The children have worked on sentence writing  short descriptive sentences about aliens in the book. 

In maths this week, we have focussed on the counting patterns beyond 20 and noticing the 5 a bit more pattern to compose the numbers 6, 7 & 8, using the numberblocks.

On Friday, we had a full day of Mental Health Awareness Day. The children thought about being healthy on the inside and the outside, looking at what we enjoy doing., what makes us happy and we looked at what we are proud of. We also spent some time with our buddies sharing books in reading for pleasure.
