NOTICEBOARD:

Week beginning: Monday 27th June

The children need to wear PE kits on Monday and Friday this week.  Friday is Sports Day - we are looking forward to sharing Sports Day with you all.

In English, the children will start a unit of poetry based on the Message from the Moon poetry collection.

In Maths, the children will look at divisibility rules (how do we know if a number is divisible by 10 or 5) and what happens when a number is divided by 0, 1 or itself.

In Science, the children will make careful observations of their bean seeds growing on our classroom windows, we hope we see signs of growth soon.  They will also plant a sunflower seed and use their knowledge of plants to place it in the best place to grow.  We wonder who will grow the tallest seedling.

In Computing, the children will start their coding unit and learn about algoriths.

In History, the children will learn about holidays during the 1950's.

In Art, the children will continue to make their tree sculptures.

In RE, the children will discuss the question - Does completing Hajj make a person a better Muslim?

Coats are still needed everyday!
